Darcie had the opportunity to speak about Human Centered Design at Agile Alliance 2024 in Dallas, TX.
At this workshop Darcie enabled participants with foundations with human-centered approaches by presenting educational content. Then we ran a mini-workshop to have people experiment with best practices through a collaborative exercise called Design the Box.
Highlights of the conference:
⭐ Working with the fabulous Cheryl M Hammond on developing my talk
⭐ Connecting with former colleagues (and friends) from Red Hat, Matt Takane and Venus Izadi who shared a track with me
⭐ Meeting track speakers from around the World including Sally Gasser Gamil, Maria Chec, Natalie Lunbeck, Padmini Nidumolu, Canessa Boyd
A few things I took away:
⭐ Agile is a mindset with different flavors but at its core we all follow the same principles
⭐ Agilists are some of the most enthusiastic people around – and I love them!
⭐ It doesn’t matter how long time has passed work friendships can pick up where they left off
